Two Quick Polls, Share Your Story with NBC Nightly News

 Two Quick Polls, Share Your Story with NBC Nightly News

Share You Feedback, Share Your Stories
NYCON has recently launched two quick polls. Take a few minutes to share your feedback on the proposed increase in the minimum wage as well as giving your input on the ways your nonprofit might  utilize vendor relationships internationally in order to save money.

Poll #1:Where Do You Get Your Goods & Services?
NBC Nightly News has recently contacted NYCON inquiring about how New York nonprofits access the most affordable goods & services - and how they might utilize vendor relationships outside the United States. We are defining goods and services as utilities (electricity, water, natural gas, heating oil, phone service, etc.) as well as basic program or office supplies (i. e. paper, toner, or in the case of heath care, pharmaceuticals.)

Poll #2: Raise the Minimum Wage?
The Governor has recently proposed a plan to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $8.75 an hour. Do you agree with this proposal?

NPQ's annual survey

NPQ's annual survey

Please tell NPQ what to do!
If you fill it out:

  1. You will know that you have had an impact on NPQ’s editorial agenda for 2013. We choose topics to follow guided by the answers we get from you;
  2. You may be invited to join NPQ’s Editorial Advisory Board and attend our annual reader advisory committee meeting, an always-fascinating two-day event on the East Coast. The more complete your answers are the more likely it is that you will be selected (if you cannot pay your way, we will, and your name will appear on our masthead as an advisor);
  3. You may receive a free subscription to our print journal (every twentieth respondent completing a survey will receive one);
  4. You will receive a summary of our findings from the survey.

Most important, you will know that you have helped direct NPQ—an important information source for civil society—just by showing up (taking the survey) and having informed opinions!
